It is no more news that Prince Harry finally tied the knot with delectable Meghan Markle on 19th of May, 2018 at the St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. They became the 16th royal couple to celebrate their marriage at Windsor Castle since 1863.This beautiful day brought the whole world to a still, connected all continent to an event, with all eyes on this beautiful couple. On the morning of the wedding it was announced that the Queen has conferred a Dukedom on Prince Henry of Wales. His titles will be Duke of Sussex, Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel. Prince Harry is thus His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex, and Markle has become Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex.
We all had our moments at this unusual event. Event industry across the world couldn’t resist the aura of professionalism in place to deliver such a glamorous service. My best moment came from the sermon THE HEALING POWER OF LOVE, by Most Rev. Michael curry. So touching and deep……i was passionately glued to each word and descriptions, so real, emotional and so much to reflect on.
The Nigerian event lovers have been given a much discussed topic of the year, arguments on the couples choices, budget of the event……..yea! the good, the bad, and the ugly. People will talk and drop their views and argue their differences, that is what people do.
All social media pages are blown up with images and gist of this event.
The brides choice of dress…………….(Another days talk), the cake and price tag, the guest list, decoration statement, VVIP entrance…..omg! do u realize there was no beefed up security aid like we do have at our Naija events?….common!!! where a Local Govt chairman will walk in with battalion of over 20 armed men!!! at-least our VVIP’s can take a lesson from this.
So much to talk about and to learn from a wedding i will tag “wedding of the year”.
Stay connected as we drop more gist and discuss parameters of the Royal Wedding……
